JA Career Hunt is an exciting way for students to explore a variety of career paths and the steps needed to secure their own successful career. Teachers can sign in as a class or students can sign in individually. Attendees can choose from a variety of live

career sessions and ask questions of the presenters via a moderated Q&A Chat. Check out the event Expo and Learning Lounge for more career exploration content and learning opportunities.

JA Career Hunt is an online career exploration event series for students in Grades 7-12. On live event days, students can choose from a variety of career mentor sessions, learning about a variety of fields and what it takes to be successful in those fields.
Registered teachers will be provided with a set of generic logins that students can use to enter the event.

JA offers programs based on three pillars: Financial Literacy, Work Readiness, and Entrepreneurship. JA Programs use a variety of learning methods, including hands-on activities, classroom discussions and e-learning. Yes, each student has a backpack they can save items to and use and can use an email address to forward saved documents, flyers, videos, etc.
Each JA Career Hunt event has a theme. JA Career Hunt – A World of Choices events cover a wide variety of industries, including Trades, professional services, arts, healthcare, public service, policing, entrepreneurship, etc. Careers represented in each event

may vary based on mentor availability. Special themed events will also be offered. JA Career Hunt – Business Builders will focus on entrepreneurs and young professionals helping to build thriving businesses, JA Career Hunt – Caring Careers will focus on jobs

in hospitality and healthcare, and JA Career Hunt – Jobs of the Future will focus on technology, future trends and changes to the world of work.

  • Mar. 4, 2025, 9:25-11:00am – JA Career Hunt: A World of Choices * Incl. a panel in recognition of International Women’s Day
  • Apr. 9, 2025, 9:00–10:30am – JA Career Hunt: Careers of the Future
  • Jun. 3, 2025, 9:25-11:00am – JA Career Hunt: A World of Choices

Yes, you can log back in using your initial login method and keep exploring. Sessions will be recorded and available for viewing for a period of time following the live event.
